Meet Deannie

• Deannie Janowitz L.Ac. is a California Board certified Licensed Acupuncturist, a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM Certified Fertility Specialist) and an NCCAOM Diplomate in Oriental Medicine and Chinese Herbology. She received her Masters Degree In Oriental Medicine and graduated with honors from Samra University in Los Angeles, CA.

• Deannie’s true passion is helping support couples in their journey to conceive.  She fully appreciates the intricate, holistic balance between body and mind and that every patient has unique requirements. She uses this understanding to establish a fully customized healing plan integrating acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nutrition and lifestyle modifications for each individual and to develop a partnership of mutual respect and trust with her patients.

 

• Her dedication to giving the best possible care to her patients and learning as much as possible about this profound ancient wisdom has taken her to study with world renowned Oriental Health Care practitioners at the International Acupuncture Training Center in Beijing, China and Kyung Hee University in Seoul, Korea and world class Oriental medicine fertility experts in the United States.  

 

• Deannie's devotion and belief in the time-honored, profound natural power of Oriental medicine are evident in every treatment she gives. Her warmth, enthusiasm and compassionate manner combine to create an environment of empowerment and confidence to support patients in all aspects of their healing and fertility enhancement process, whether they are trying to conceive naturally or in conjunction with IUI/IVF procedures.
 

• Deannie has been a professor of Chinese Herbology at Samra University of Oriental Medicine and DongGuk Royal University and a Clinical Supervisor at YoSan University, all in Los Angeles, CA.

 

• She has also participated in humanitarian acupuncture relief training and treatments in Mexico, Uganda, Indonesia, India, Nepal, China and Mongolia.
